Happy Friday!! It’s suppose to be a rainy one but it’s always nice to have one every now & then, for some arts & crafts time!
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, traveling or just want to explore your own city – check out this new site Fathom. They have amazing useful guides for a lot of cities and I’m sure they will be expanding to more cities soon. The include information that is useful for tourists or locals. It’s a great way to find out about new places & activities to do in your city.
Some NYC guides I really enjoyed were:

There are so many amazing Etsy stores, so every now & then I feel the need to share. This vintage shop, Barking Sands Vintage has some amazing pieces to throw a room together. Items range from 20th century American antiques to mid-century modern (and they ship internationally!). That lamp is killing me! Have some vintage pieces of your own? The shop owner, Jeni sometimes looks to buy certain items – see list here.

When I think of coal, I think of coal mines (Hunger Games!) or grilling. Mixing both age-old Asian practice & Scandinavian design, Sort of Coal changes the way I ever viewed coal. White coal naturally purifies the air, body, or water. For example, the first item (the water bottle & white coal) – by placing the coal in the water, it absorbs chlorine & releases minerals. A coal this size is reusable for up to a month! The 2nd item, the Chikutan Sticks, will absorb impurities in your cocktail & give it a fresher taste. Check out their other products like shampoo, soap & necklaces – I’m tempted to try it!
I don’t drink rice wine, but I think I will after seeing this amazing moon glass from tale Co, ltd. The different levels at the bottom of the glass cause the moon’s change. The black glass is made for rice wine, but the white glass can be used for colored alcohol or tea.

Happy Friday!! Tonight I’ll be heading back to PA to drop off some winter clothes (yay!) & to relax! I also am planning on visiting Terrain at Styers for the first time. I’ve been eyeing these juice jars all week, they’d be perfect to store iced coffee, tea, or some sangria!

It’s officially Spring! Each spring I always feel like there are a ton of events, between birthdays & weddings – it’s a busy season. Which is why I’m so glad I found Gold Teeth Brooklyn. Their handmade cards are silk screened and one of a kind. I recently picked up the shoes card for my friends that just got engaged! Cards are available for purchase at their Etsy shop here or check for locations near you here.
How cool is this Sombrilla? It looks like a mini summer tent on the beach, much better than a big umbrella that always feels like it’s going to blow away. This Sombrilla is only available in Australia but I am determined to find one that ships to the US!
Happy Friday! How cool is this bed? Created by Yusuke Suzuki, this bed can fold up during the day and opens up at night to make the coziest beds. I’ve recently become obsessed with The Hunger Games (a little late!) but I’d love to curl up and read in this “book”. Found here.
