tea time

I recently gave one of these gorgeous Bellocq tea tins to a friend and I fell in love with them myself.  They make me feel like I’m in the 1920’s with this chic packaging, I kind of want to collect them all.  Plus after the teas gone, these tins can serve as decoration or storage for anything else.
**BELLOCQ has just relocated their tea atelier to Greenpoint, Brooklyn and open today at 12pm 🙂 Hooray!

on the run

Ever wonder how the graffiti artists manage to get in to certain spaces & carry all their tools?
Check out this backpack that is made for spray cans, making it easier for people like Banksy to be on the run.

fall wishlist

I’ve been so preoccupied with going through clothes and donating/ebaying them – I’ve forgotten that I am in desperate need of a few fall items myself.  Here are a few things I’ve been admiring from afar (& will keep on doing so – unless I start selling my kidneys on ebay too 🙂
[ one. skinny jeans. ] [ two. sweater. ] [ three. plaid cape. ] [ four. aztec socks. ] [ five.  boots. ] [ six. fruits of the week underwear. *love these* ] [ seven. corduroy skirt. ] [ eight. bangles. & watch. ]
Happy Friday!

the remedy

I don’t know how, but I managed to get sick before the first official day of fall.  After a long day of feeling awful, I came home to a pampered meal for the sick.
Course 1: Hot tea with honey

Course 2: Bread & Oil

Course 3: Kiwi

Course 4: Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

And for dessert 🙂

Fall Lovin

Tim and I have been in constant competition with each other to see who can cook the best dinner.  I was so happy when Sweet Paul came out with it’s fall edition, my new secret weapon.
I tried out Thyme Roasted Chicken with Pears and it was delicious and really easy to do.  Plus it made the apartment smell like fall.

and just to make sure I completely won, we had some caramel apples 🙂
PS – Happy Birthday, Melissa!! xx
